Tails on a Mission was born from a shared passion for animals and nature. As lifelong dog lovers with years of experience in training, pet sitting, and dog walking. We, Hatice and Imke, decided to turn our love for dogs into something bigger. What could be better than spending the day outdoors, surrounded by happy, wagging tails?
We know how difficult it can be to find a place where you truly feel comfortable leaving your dog—somewhere safe, trustworthy, and, most importantly, fun for your furry friend. That’s exactly why we started Tails on a Mission. A happy dog means a happy owner, and we’re here to make sure your pup gets the adventure, exercise, and care they deserve.
Active in Amsterdam West, Osdorp, Amsterdam Zuid, Sloten, and Badhoevedorp, we welcome dogs of all breeds and sizes. Our dream? To grow and expand so that dogs all over Amsterdam and beyond can join our pack!

Our dog walk service
We offer daily morning and afternoon walks, Monday through Friday. Every dog is picked up and dropped off right at your doorstep in our super-sonic electric bus! 🚌
Your pup will enjoy an adventurous group walk in nature, getting plenty of exercise, socialization, and fun while you’re busy with your day. Whether it’s a morning energy boost or an afternoon adventure, we make sure every dog gets the attention, care, and playtime they need.

Whatever you do... Never fake the throw!
There’s nothing worse for a dog than a human pretending to throw the ball. We would never do that!
But all jokes aside, what actually happens on our walks?
After picking up all dogs in our electric bus, we head to a quiet nature spot in the region. Once we arrive, the dogs are carefully taken out and kept on leash. When everyone is ready, we walk to an area where they can run freely (only the dogs who are safe to be off-leash).
From there, every dog gets to decide how they want to spend their adventure. Some love to sniff and walk around, others are on a mission to find the biggest stick. Some dogs prefer playing with their buddies, while others take full advantage of rolling in the grass. Whatever they choose, we’re there to make sure everything goes smoothly. Keeping an eye on interactions, ensuring all dogs are safe, and making sure there’s no unnecessary chaos.
We also love adding a little mental stimulation with fun games and exercises to challenge them. After about an hour and a half, we usually notice the energy levels dropping. Some dogs slow down, some find a comfy patch of grass for a quick nap. That’s our cue to gather the pack, walk back to the bus, and head home.
